Collingwood Alternative School draws its students from throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area. We maintain regular contact with our students’ families as we understand that a strong partnership between school and home is vital to ensuring successful educational outcomes.
We also have strong links with our local community in the City of Yarra and the many organisations that support and provide services for our students. We are annexed to Collingwood College and receive support and guidance through their school council.
CAS also encourages its students to be active and responsible members of their school and local community by providing regular opportunities for them to help and support others. Community projects empower young people to create positive change and develop empathy.
